Training Center

The Accountancy Training Resource Center at Kabul University is located inside the KU library. The Center is equipped with 35 brand new computers and 2 printers, which are currently being used by the students enrolled in the accounting courses conducted by the Pragma Corporation. Upon completion of these courses, the Pragma Corporation will assist the Center in developing model bookkeeping and accounting curricula; will identify potential sponsors that could provide assistance in the development of curricula and other educational efforts leading to sector growth and capacity building; and will assist with a plan for future faculty educational development and training in accounting. Based on these guidelines, the Center will continue to operate as a financially self-sustainable unit of Kabul University providing training courses for students and accounting practitioners, training for accountancy trainers (“Train the Trainers” programs) and faculty development.
