he ongoing USTDA/Pragma Corporation’s Accountancy Training Program at Kabul University builds Afghanistan's accounting sector capacity through provision of accountancy courses to Kabul University students and through the development of an Accountancy Training Resource Center at Kabul University. The Center will assist the University in the development and implementation of future accountancy training programs, accountancy training curricula and trained accountancy faculty. The 28-day long accountancy courses provide the students with a solid basis in financial and managerial accounting that helps them meet Afghan employers’ requirements for trained accountancy personnel.

  • First Course (January-February 2007)
The first Basic Bookkeeping and Accountancy course took place during January and February 2007.
